CoreLogic Launches Fraud Tools Certification Program
-- Course turns users into experts --

ORLANDO , Fla. and SACRAMENTO, Calif., Oct. 24, 2005 – CoreLogic, a C&S company and leading provider of collateral risk and fraud management tools, serving 90 of the top 100 lenders in the nation, announced the launch of its collateral risk management certification program. The program is designed to build a solid working knowledge of the fundamentals of CoreLogic fraud management tools. The first course in the curriculum provides certification in the industry leading HistoryProTM collateral risk management tool, making the company’s users experts in the tool’s capabilities.

The certification courses are in-depth investigations into CoreLogic tools and ways to more effectively apply these tools in the user’s job function. Certified instructors teach from a curriculum supported by a variety of instructional aids including quick reference & user guides, FAQs, and case studies. The case studies provide a collaborative environment for students to share ideas, information and experiences with other industry veterans. Each student must pass a comprehension test to become a CoreLogic certified user. Each course takes four hours. Certification is renewed annually.

“Two of the top ten lenders nationwide have expressed strong satisfaction with initial results from CoreLogic certification services and are now rolling out these programs companywide,” said Steve Schroeder, CEO of CoreLogic. “Several other leading lenders are also in various stages of certification program planning with CoreLogic.”

The HistoryPro certification course benefits both the user and the employer. The course increases the user’s knowledge of how the tool is applied to their job as an important factor in making lending or investing decisions. It also strengthens a user’s work experience and industry competency. The employer benefits because the certification course develops a pool of company-wide expertise in the area of fraud management tools, enhancing the company’s reputation.

“The initial reaction to the HistoryPro certification course has been overwhelming, and we see an enormous demand for similar courses for all our products, particularly LoanSafe,” said Schroeder. “Companies want their users to understand much more about how to make informed lending decisions supported by CoreLogic tools such as HistoryPro. The certification program takes their skill level up a notch from the fundamentals.”
